Nurse coaching has served as a check-in to the commotion of my ordinary life. I’ve really appreciated the accountability of Tabitha holding up a mirror to me, reminding me of the goals I’d set and encouraging me in my progress towards them. I have more confidence in breaking down my ideals into manageable achievements. I appreciated both the mindfulness and accountability aspects of working with Tabitha. She served as a check and balance to me; bringing both encouragement and motivation to chip away at what really mattered to me. My experience has been amazing. I have expressed my hesitation with doctors and how I just feel not heard and medicated with anything I would want. But I truly felt heard, and I felt directed and guided to things that would help me outside of medication. I had a really positive experience working with Tabitha. I liked that the coaching relationship felt like a safe place to share. It was a positive experience and I really enjoyed how well you do reflective listening as it is a skill I am trying to work on so it was nice to see it done so well in the coaching/client relationship that I hope to have when I become a CPT and have clients of my own. Right before I started working with Tabitha I started prioritizing both my physical and mental health. Our coaching sessions have not only given me a safe space to talk about my anxiety and everything going on in life but also to slow down and be aware of my goals. She gave me breathing exercises and techniques to be mindful and release the stress. We also worked together to break down my goals into smaller achievable goals. I also liked that Tabitha applauded my achievements and but wasn't afraid to call me out on things. In the coaching relationship she gave me a space that had honesty and truth, but also felt safe.
